The sequel to Outloud 1 the 2003 version of the compilation was bigger and better. Some of the best bands in the history of the local music scene grace this compilation with unreleased songs that put Outloud 2 over the top. The CD opens with a brand new track from "defined by what we steal", Not My American. It is followed by our new introduction to Sunlit Ambush, Flying Ali Baba and South River. Included in the mix is brand new, unheard songs from Jay Spectre, Looking For Heather and MFR!.
The compilation is finished by Springloaded with the incredible "Fuck The Scene". This CD was launced on June 27th 2003 and it was such a big launch, we had to have two shows. June 28th 2003 we had a second show, just so we could fit all the bands in. It helped kick off the greatest summer in recent memory which ended with the incredible "Rockapaloozafestockival 2", our end of the year, outdoor festival.
Note: The CD is labled as Number: dbm009, the same as our release of Bands Against Bush. Our fault, Outloud 2 should actually be credited as dbm008. We just got mixed up and didn't notice until it was too late.
