Artist: The Logans Band Title: Suburban White Dream Format: CD Price: $5.00 Released:March 10th 2002 Number: dbm002
This CD was released as a single for the song "Suburban White Dream" from The Bliss EP. In it's original release it was a four song EP with songs written after the release of The Bliss EP. The song Man In My Room is a regular fixture in any Logans Band set. The final song on the record The Way Of The Mog was written and released on Outloud 1: The Music Of The City Of The Kawartha Lakes. It shows a very different direction for The Logans Band moving to a full band sound and completely instrumental score. Ryan has modified the song to open sets with as he rarely plays with a full band. "Olivia's Requiem" was written based on characters from a film written by Ryan Oliver and Nic Polito entitled Wall Of Fire. The film has never been produced but the characters and the story ring strongly in work the two do, even to this day.
It should be noted that a second release of "Suburban White Dream EP" was put out in the summer of 2002. For a show at the Electric Tomato in Lindsay, we pressed different versions of the CD containing a spoken word piece and another full band song called "Wanna Live." There are only about 5 copies of this version in existance.
